I feel like a serious clown tonight. For a few months, I have been on Akai about fixing the problems with note sustaining even when I don't want them. Today, I found the culprit.

My daughter uses my weighted-key keyboard controller. I really didn't notice that she connected a sustain pedal to this controller which is attached to my MPC. This sustain pedal isn't working properly and causes all the notes to sustain. Once I unplugged the pedal, the controller as well as the MPC is working perfectly in this regard..... Silly...silly me...

I can only imagine how frustrated you would've been if you hadn't caught the problem, and the new OS came out, only to find that the sustaining notes were still there. You probably would've went crazy, and thrown your 2500 against the wall. HAHA.

No..not really. I replace my MPCs not sell them. An MPC will always be in my set-up.
