i found a new spot the other day and picked up a bunch of soul 45s. when i left the guy says he trades and gives credits for records so i told him i would return. i have a shit load of records that i was literally about to give away to whoever would take them, so i gathered up like 250 of them, all 45s and took them down there not knowing what to expect. from past experiences i wasn't expecting much. anyway i drop em on the counter and start diggin, i get a decent stack probably about $40 worth and i'm thinking i will probably have to shell at least $20-$25 out of pocket. dude gave me $125 credit for all those records i was about to give away. i tried not to show to much excitment as i said "let me look around a bit more". this is what i got with my credit, all lps:
grand funk
chic
glorya gaynor, never say goodbye
patti labelle, winner in you
chaka chan, naughty
temptations, to be continued
isley bros, grand slam
gap band, III
larry graham, star walk

con funk shun, touch
deep purple, shades of
james brown, papas bag
gap band, II
lakeside, fantastic voyage
isley bros, real deal
jacksons, triumph
jones girls, get as much love as you can
10cc, greatest hits
al green, soul survivor
grand funk railroad, born to die
solid gold, soul comp
iron butterfly, gadda

rufus and chaka, masterjam
rick james, bustin out of L seven

bootsys rubber band, ahh the name is
the three degrees, live
cool thing is i bought all of those 45s for 7 cents each and then the dude gave me 50 cents credit for them.

e.d.e - i got that shyt.......the one with the blue gun on the front yellow background. it's pretty ill. it has a mean drum break as an intro to one of those tracks. Easily my favorite of his records. it's also the funkiest that i have, does he have others that are as funky?
