mpc auto tempo and bars set

hey a friend of my has his 2000xl set so whenever he goes to a new sequence and press down on the cursor it sets the desired tempo and bars that he wants its not master tempo either its something else he says he forgot how to do it does anyone here know how thanks.

Open up the 2kxl manual in adboe acrobat, Ctrl + F, type "master" hit enter.

What is the FIRST thing find with that search?

Thank's for the help but that's not it I know how to do that im talking 'bout when you turn the jog wheel to a new sequence u press the down cursor and the tempo change's and the bar's change. the tempo is set to (seq) not (mas)
im just thinking his mp was F*cked! up but it still works and i just wanted to know how it was done peace!!

go into the EDIT screen and hit the USER soft key, here you can change the default paramaters like tempo, bars, etc....
