Yes... we all know about the MTC slave prob - have you tried using the 2500 as master???

I m syncing with mmc

Also - MMC isn't sync - it's used to control the basic features of a recording device. This includes Start Recording , Stop Recording and Track Arming. MMC does not contain any timing information.

Don't forget to try it with MMC on and off - some DAWs don't like to 'see' MMC because MTC contains Song Position Pointer.

Akai engineering is aware of this issue and other related problems.

Since this is related to the MPC set as a slave, I also agree that we should set the MPC as the Master (with MMC on and off) and report the findings in this thread.

Gorgeous idea!!

I'm having nothing short of excellent syncing with Sonar 5 and Nuendo 3. I find I always want to have MMC 'ON'. MTC Master - 30fps ND.

Echo Layla soundcard and/or Frontier Design Dakota card (depending upon whether I'm using 9 pin sync).
Lots of external sound modules and synths being used at the same time. Even sending Program/Patch changes to an Eventide H3000 which is also synced up for delays, etc...

Any UK guys/gals clocking at 25fps??? Any problems???
