Sample Scrolling!!!

Does Anyone Know how to scroll through a sample faster in the ChopShop????

please use the search next time, this has been discussed before. and be sure read page 63 in your manual:

"You can change the start point by turning the DATA wheel.
If you press the left/right cursor key while holding the [SHIFT] key, you can select the digit with the DATA wheel.
You can also enter the value directly with using the numeric keys."

this forum is not a substitute to your unit manual. that being said, welcome to the boards.

i had that prob to and posted it in this forum.. but all i got was jerks talking... but the mpc2000 does it faster huh?.. in zone mode ,.. the mpc2000 wheel runs smoother than the 2500 clicking all the time you move it.. its to loud.. i hate it!

actually episode... the manual does not clearly state that you can use the two sliders to rapidly move thru samples. hold the after button and use slider one for the start time, and hold after and move the second slider to edit the end time...

That method doesn't work in CHOPSHOP.

your bad, it works for me. the sliders make coarse adjustments when editing a sample, the data wheel is for fine adjustments

When trimming a sample, yes. BUT NOT IN CHOP SHOP. Do you even own an MPC; do you know what we're talking about?

yea trimming a sample...thats it..its slow there ..

sorry guys i was just trying to help....i assumed that ya'll were using chop shop as a general term for the sample chopping function....sorry...and YES i do own an mp, and every other piece of gear that you guys probly drool over....my name is maestro-on-the-chartz for a reason...i guess from now on i'll just read and not try to input
