anyone still using 2.1

i'm still using the 2.1 os.
after the 3.0 drops akai'll probably step up and give us MTC.
+ if anything happens to your mpc, your warranty is **** if they found out that you were using the 3.0 os

don't think thats a big problem... how would they know?
and besides that, i've found no disclaimer about runnig any custom sofware on the mpc so it should be safe as far as warranty goes.

if they get it working again they'll most likely check about anything to see if anything has voided your warranty. so if they find out you've been using the 3.0, which is a 3rd paty os that's not licenced by akai, you'll probably end up with the joker card.

I like OS 2.1 but I got scared when my MPC Froze trying to move an event in step edit, it just threw up a load of crap and that was it. Has'nt happened since though.

Not ready to move on yet. Just finally nailed all features in this one.

im still usin 2.1 but the only thing i want is direct recording , and i know its on 3.0 .....but i can wait , ive never had a problem with 2.1 so its all cool .... but i dont know about 3 i know fo sure i'll run into problems and i dont want to put my mpc at risk , i rather go with akai ....

I still use 2.1 also.I will consider 3.0 when its final and stable.

im still on the 2.1, ill get 3.0 when its dropped officialy by akai, i just wanna play it on the safe side, and its not because of the warranty, i dont even have dat shhit cus i got my 1k of e bay.

I'm using 2.1. Dont have any plans on switching unless akai wont release a new is in a year or so.
I want to stay comatible with the 2500 so when i get it the transition will be smooth.

3.0 won't damage your machine
3.0 is more stable than akai
3.0 doesn't offer any compatability issues with the 2500, as it's closer to the 2500 os than 2.1 is
