so I got the "system test" screen last night, and after searching the fourms I reinstalled 1.1 and got my mpc up and running.

I was working on a beat, using the q link slider to trim my samples just find, then they stopped resonding, I restarted my mpc and had the same problem so I reformated my cf card and reinstalled os 1.1.

SAME ****...........

I then downloaded os 1.2 and installed it on my mpc still nothing, when I hit "mode" and then "slider" moving my any of my q links does nothing but when I hit my pads they some times switch to a new q-link screen....

to me this sounds like a hardware problem, i don't know man what do you guys think.

BUMP!!

I thought it might just be a software problem, but now when I go to slider menu and tilt my mpc q link menu starts flickering.

Unlikely that all 4 of the Q-Links die at the same time. Call your dealer or Akai support and tell them about the problem.

oh...did you try using them with a new project? Empty memory?

I have tried it with nothing loaded and i still get the same problem. when I first turn it on they works fine for about 5 minutes then they all out on me,also every once in a while when i hit the f6 it will take me to the mix menu.

i'll give vst a call in the morning.

Isn't that os 1.21 supposed to adress system test? Did you try 1.21? Although your problems sounds like it's hardwarebased...
