MPC 1000 factory set sequences and sounds

What's up everyone? I'm new to this forum and to the mpc world. i just bought the new mpc 1000 (blk) and am trying to figure it out. how can i get rid of all the factory preset sequences and sounds. it's taking up all my recording memory, not to mention the sounds are weak! the factory set hip hop sequence and beat comes on whenever i turn my mpc on. how can i get rid of it??? pls help. Thanks homies!!!!!

From what I've read from the 1k vets here:

rename your autload folder
read your manual and figure out how to turn off autoload
delete the sounds in the autoload folder
