I posted the so-called 'fancy pics' in the Studio Pic thread. That is what it is there for, no? But I am a hip-hop cat. Some talk about their diamong grills or their cars...I just wanted to show my studio..excuse me..my kids and my studio :P

Correction...one month ago I was ready to replace it because..a unique system test error (the latest OS fixes that) and the note duration 'bug' (my error)...so what's your point? I replace (not just sell) items that don't fit my needs..because I can. There is nothing that would make me want to get what you are using. Implying I want one is ludacris

Silly dude..if I knew the pedal was broken, I would have replaced it already. Don't worry about her. I am about to give her back-to-school gifts that will enhance her music instrument collection....Fretlight Guitar and a violin. Don't hate....

Actually the bug list proves nothing. Every single bug is not reported in the bug list of any company. And that list does not say that the bugs are specific to enhancements. If you want to continue to dream about the 1000 being superior to the 2500..by all means, continue to do so. Enjoy your poor man's MPC as much as you like. My son wants an alto-sax. He will have it this week. If he wanted an MPC, I would buy him a 2500 or 2000XL. I don't have time trying to glue a piece of gear back together. He would need something that he can bang away on and it not break.

So if you do that math (you can add right)....That is at least $1400 in musical instruments for the kids...another $1K to finish school clothes shopping....a couple hundred for my college books....you already seen the pics of my new double monitor set-up....  Wow..that is a grip of cash. Don't you wish you parents took/take your music ambitions serious :P I still have room in my heart for a foster kid. You are potty trained right? I don't feel like going through that again. I will probably just lay out some newspapers for you.

Pfff, can't you be a bit more original. As a last resort you always come up with that foster fantasy of yours.
What's the deeper meaning behind that. Not happy with your own kids...?

Correction, one month ago you were ready to sell your 2500:

You're getting demented grandpa

Good to hear you giving your kids something to play with. I do hope they didn't inherent your musical talent. Otherwise it'll be more money down the drain.

Your description of my profile is a bit off, except for one thing: potty training.
You are right, i sh!t on you

Not old enough to be a grandpa yet, but I do look forward to the coming years watching my daughter grow to beome a woman and my son, becoming a man.

You have no intelligence if you believe buying musical instruments for my kids is a waste of money. It doesn't matter if they choose to not do it professionally. It makes them well rounded....just as playing sports. Just because my son rocks $180 Jordans doesn't mean he needs to go to the NBA...well, that wasn't a good example, but even you should know where I am heading.

You can quote me out of context or decipher what I mean by any of my posts....but my MPC was never in any real danger of being sold. If I did sell my 2500, it would be replaced by the MPC 3000, which is still the best MPC ever created.

Naw dude...if you are not potty trained...you are shittin on yourself....silly boy

aaawww, you're still in here struggling to save what was lost two days ago. I owned you with the first post, the rest was all bonus.
It was fun while it lasted but i'm afraid i don't have time to chit-chat with wannabe producers too long.
Besides, i have the feeling you were already out of ammo 4 posts ago.
But to make up for the embarrassments i'll allow you to have the last post (i know how much that means to you, Romeo).
Till now you haven't been real sharp. This is your chance. Give it your best shot, JahJah :P

I'm making tracks while you're figuring out how a sustain pedal works

Oh..so you have dreams of being a producer huh? Even with your poor choice in gear, you should be able to accomplish something. Its ok, we understand that everyone can't afford the gear of their dreams. You do have to start off with something and work your way up. You don't really have to justify buying it.....

Oh...and unless you are a fine azz female, I prefer you not calling me Romeo

I got sum mo

No matter what color you paint it...or how many times you fix your pads...or what 3rd party operating systems you install...the 1000 will never be better than a 2500. You will not find an MPC 2500 user that will get rid of a 2500 in favor of a 1000 unless they needed rent money. Portability..that was an Akai sales pitch which is silly because MPC-heads have traveled with MPCs 2-3 times it size for 18 years. The 1000 is nothing more than the first affordable MPC designed/targeted for the kids with aspirations to be like their favorite beat maker.
