Need help installing the OS,

Does anyone know how to install the os?? Im a newbie so it might be a dumb question,, but the searchfunction of this site is sooooo fvcked up,,,,

Thanx,, but when i open the text file of it, i get all this crazy shit

JUST SAVE IT ONTO A CD ROM (NOT THE COMPUTER LANGUAGE YOU HAVE UP THERE ) AND INSERT IT INTO YOUR MPC4000 IT WILL ALMOST DO THE REST IN LEADING YOU AFTER YOU HIT LOAD.

DONT TRY TO OPEN IT UP IN ANY OTHER MACHINE. IT FOR THE MPC 4000 ONLY

CHOOSE EITHER 1.45 OR 1.50

save the down load to a floppy disk.......load it into the 4k........select load.......load the os........enjoy the rest of the day.........easy as pie

im gonna look around for floppy drive,,, i sure hope i aint have to buy an expensive thing because of competibilty and shit

However, if you don't have access to a SCSI CD-R drive or a computer with USB ports, I don't think there's much you can do. As far as I know updating from a USB drive is not such a good idea....?
