Maxed out 1000 spec??

What is the spec of a maxed out MPC 100o?

i.e How much ram, how big flash card, how big hard drive?

Does having an internal hard drive fitted stop the need for having a flash card?

Max RAM is 128mb

Hard drives and CF cards are simply as big as you can buy. I've seen 120gb hard drives, not too sure bout CF cards but you can get at least 2gb

Getting the hard drive stopped the need for a CF card completely for me.

Cool, now that makes more sense than all the other stuff i have rea about on here regard this to me.

So the MPC plugs directly into a computer via usb and appears as an external hard drive to drag and drop sample and file on and off of then?

Yes, the hard drive shows up in Windows as an external drive.

120GB in mpc 1000 or mpc 2500

has anyone fitted this size in their mpc 1000 or mpc 2500??
what is the format of the hard drive. FAT 32 ???

Yeah thanks, I saw that. I know what type to get, I just don't know how many gigs to get...the 1000 is not may main piece of gear ( I got an MV8000 too ) so it's not like all of my work will be done/saved in the 1000.
