yeah mebbes should have worded it better.rap is a shitty mess and it murdered hip hop and pissed on it's grave ... the backpacker indie stuff is just as bad cos it's boring ..(most of the time! . i have respect for people like dilla/madlib who try something new/weird)
where's the energy nowadays of late 80s stuff?..
stuff sounded dirty but still sounded so nice through a big system.....
at the time i loved primo when he started chopping cos it sounded new but know i'm starting to think all his chopping severely contributed to the death cos it took all the looseness out of hip hop.
