programm change only in step edit?

or is there another place where i can sen bank and programm change events to my midi synths?
How do you change the programs of your synth? manually or create an empty sequence - so it doesn´t cut of the first note?

Step edit, is the only place I know of to insert bank/program changes.

Think aboutit, where else in your sequencer can you insert them, no where.

Not in a sample mode, not in a effect mode. Only in step edit.

Well i was thinking allong the lines of a global command per sequence.. something hidden under the window button maybe.

Anyway... i know how to insert them in sequence mode - only i don´t get the desired result on my synth (novation KSR) but i guess i´ll have to experiment a bit more .

You 'll have to figure out what numbers go to what patches/programs in you keyboard.
