Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hey everyone,
My MPC2000XL LCD is now full of lines (lasted a little over 5 years). I have seen some replacement LCD on sale for about $200. I would like to try and replace this myself.

Has anyone else replced the lcd themselves? is it difficult, any problems arise in the process? anything I shpould be aware of before I purchse a replacement?

I've only opended the MPC to install the extra ram in the past, which was a fairly simple process. so I have moderate experience in computer part matinence.
anyways, maybe someone could post a link, if they know of one, that gives you a step by step how to? (not sure if this is in the manual) t
thanks in advance for your help.

Easy process just remember how u took it out and everything should be well. But if uncertain its better to let someone who knows how to do it do it but u can take the risk by doin it yourself if u have some confidence. Up to you. But its an easy job and based on what u said im pretty sure u can do it.
