hey everyone,

i'm thinking of an e-mu vintage keys to hook up on my 2kxl.
is this a good investment??
try to make some deephouse(any deepheads here??)

in answer yes i like my deep shit..i reckon the vintage with some efx will be perfect or better perhaps get the akai vintage keys or the emu vintage keys sample cd's and multispan em..that way your not stuck with the module if you ever tire of the sounds...

better yet (if you have a computer) :get the E-mu vintage set as Soundfont and load them into a softsampler. Multisampled instruments take up too much memory for them to be usefull with the mpc. A softsampler will be a cheaper option, and when you get tired of the sounds you can just get new ones.
Something like Halion or Kontakt also has decent filters build in.
