Post your views and questions about the Akai MPC2500

This may sound stupid to some but.........If you can; pay full price that way you get the warranty from akai and you have an option to buy an extened warranty which will give you even more coverage.This is what I did so for the next 3 years I don't have to worry about my mpc.........if something goes wrong it's covered.

I believe it has to be purchased at an authorized akai dealer like"Guitar Center" or "Sam Ash Music stores" any major chain music store should offer the extented warranty.I bought mine at sam ash the total price of the extended warranty was around 200$ for an additional 2 years.The unit comes with a one year warranty(when bought at sam ash)

yeah hes a cool guy he has a lot of gear i know someone who trader their 2kxl for the 2500 with him.

dont buy from armen.. dont support him... he IS A THIEF... like someone mentioned, he sells refurbished units as new. also, if your shit breaks, he will extort you on repair charges.. STAY AWAY...

i got mine for 1550 at music123

basically, it was opened box. Shit looks, is, and feels brand new. ANd im pretty picky, i would have returned it, if it wasnt in good shape.

id go, open box, not b stock. thats just me

If i were to buy the 2500 here in sweden i'll have to pay around $2500... And thats without any ram or cddrive. :?

I think i'll go to london and buy it there, or order it over the net if i dare.

You guys just have crazy taxes over there :lol:


Ordering it online wouldn't be a problem...the warranty issues are what I would be most concerned about.
