I love looking at everyone elses setups, so i'll add mine as well.

I had to consolidate and move my setup to my livingroom, since my studio is unuseable right now without air conditioning (it's 110-113 degrees out here). Here is my new setup:

Mpc 1000<>fireface (using spdif)

Ms2000r<> fireface (analog)

Turntable>kaoss pad2 (phono)

kaoss pad2<>fireface (analog) this can route the turntable to the fireface too.

bass pod> fireface (analog)

guitar pod>fireface (analog)

Random stomp boxes (black finger, tube zipper, fuzz factory, qtron, electric misteress) routed differently between each other for whatever purpose <> fireface (analog)

A couple of mics >fireface (analog xlr inputs w/phantom power)

All of this is sent through the Fireface outputs to a pair of Event 20/20bas's. (I didn't want to drag the sub around)

I am now using the fireface as the mixer/io for all of my equipment. This lets me route anything plugged in to the fireface to any other device very easily. Which means I can sample anything to the mpc and record anything to the cpu, as well as route signals to the ms2k, kaoss pad or stomp boxes and back. On the cpu I mostly use Ableton, Reason, and Cubase.

In the studio I use the same as above, but also have a Ramsa DA-7 going through the fireface by way of 2 Adat in+outs to add 16 more channels. I also use many more mic's, instruments and synths in the studio as well.

(instruments left in studio Juno 60, Nord Lead 1, Korg Electribe EA1 & ES1, Yamaha Rm1x, Korg EX 8000, whurlitzer upright piano, Tama rockstar drumset, and a bunch of amps guitars, basses, mic's, etc..)

Next to the mpc, the fireface is at the center of either studio.

i use the mpc as follow :

audio routing :

MPC1K
    1> DP4 (fx unit) >MG 16/4 (mixer)
    2> DP4 > MG 16/4
    3> DP4 > MG 16/4
    4> MFC42 (Filter) > MG 16/4
    ST(analog) > MG 16/4

    EPS keyboard > MG 16/4
    S3000XL
      1> MG 16/4
      2> MG 16/4
    Z4
      1> MG 16/4
      2> MG 16/4
    microphone > MG 16/4

MG 16/4
    ST1 > Firewire 410 ( audio pc card) > speakers
    ST2 > DPS 12i (DTD)
    FXsend > DP4 > FXReturn

Midi routing :

MPC1K :

SL 1200 MKII (CH. 1) --> DJ Mixer (MAIN) --> Amp + Speakers
DJ Mixer (ZONE) --> MPC (IN)
MPC (MAIN) --> DJ Mixer (CH. 2)

That way, you can hear your records without having the mpc in record mode :). I just have to make sure I switch chanel 2 off when I'm in recording to be avoid the MPC and mixer from making feedback.

PC is in another room, that's were I edit the samples and save em to a compact flash card. Works fine for me.
