How about try contacting the developer ?

www.midicase.com

Maybe try and tell him more about the problem...

Because so far ... you have told the forum NOTHING of use that would help in solving the problem you're experiencing.

Which Windows XP version and sub release ? Which version of the www.midicase.com MPCEDITOR ? What type of drive are you trying to format ? ... all the usual stuff that helps support people to ... help you.

I appreciate your reply, I contacted the company Midicase, and they gave me a bit of useful info. I simply was asking if anyone had encountered the error message 52 on screen with Midicase to find if this was a typical error, as I did not see a listing of error messages online. I do not understand why I can't just get a polite response back? I am a new user and this is still fairly alien to me. I will try to elaborate more before placing questions up.

Thanks,
D
