Tried searching this forum and the net with google but havn't found anyone as yet who has modded there mpc. I'm talking LEDs, cold cathode tubes, neon etc. I'm interested in modding mine but could do with some info on the power rating of the step down transformer. Anyone know if its 240V down to 12DC, (I'm from UK so the voltage should start with 240V from the wall and hopefully end up at 12DC) I was having a look at _Stilo_'s internal photos, http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php ... ght=inside
and hopefully it should be as simple as connecting two wires, one to the blue and one to the brown wire (from that white plastic removable connecter that plugs in to the circuit boards on the top left hand side). If it does step down to 12DC then thats a good start. LEDs hardly use any power/current and don't get hot so should be a possible option and shouldn't affect the normal operation of the unit. I know the MPC's main function is to create music but I can't help but be interested by customising mine. Anyone any knowledge on this? any thoughts would be sound.

If you're a real modder, you'd have a multimeter or something and measure it yourself

That's dangerous wording right there, inviting ANY obnoxious, vulgar thoughts into your thread would be sound as well?

jk man.

I just like the paint jobs on the machines.
I'll never get this deep into it.
