Anyone else having this problem?

When I go into the sampling section of my 2000, I get alot static. Is it bad connections? Crossed wires? Did I plug it into a bad socket? Any help would be apreciated.

Im not using a mixer. Its going directly into a Roland VS-840. But I only hear the static when I go to the sampling screen.

Cabels could be tired.....Connection could b dirty....Do a little troubleshooting and then come back with your actions

turn monitors off in the sample screen
