can I use this SCSI-HD?

HD, Lacie scsi Ultra 9gb, External box. Incl. scsi card and cable..

..or is it too big. What do I have to look for regarding connections (50/68 pins)

Hi guys, I have an XL and i didn't buy it yet, but the price is 800,- Danish Crownes (apx $ 130)

The XL can take up to 26GB - after that, I believe it just ignores any excess GB. Whether or not that particular drive is compatible, I do not know, but it should be. The XL is 50 pin micro SCSI.

Tutor, I read that the MPC2000 (non XL) can only read up to 1 gig drives... is this true? Does it discard any additional space if so? I was gonna get a 1.2 gig on ebay but since I heard it only takes 1 gig and smaller...

you should log onto scsiforsamplers.com and give them a call..They also have HD's built especially for samplers.
