MPC 2000XL and Windows XP HELP!!!!

Can anyone help me?

I've been trying to save some MPC programs and SNDs that I have downloaded on my computer that has Windows XP Pro on it onto a floppy disk, but when I load the floppy into the MPC, it doesn't recognize it!!!

I didn't have this problem with Windows 98.

Anyone else having this issue??
If so, how did you deal with this problem???

Question: How long are the names of the files that you save on the floppy disk ?

Well, excuse me for asking. All I've seen in the threads were issues about ZIP DISKS not floppies. My issue is about the floppy drive and getting the MPC to recognise the SND files and PROGRAM files placed on a FAT formatted FLOPPY on Windows XP. I've tried most of what was posted but I've had no success. I thought I would post the issue on here since you all seem to know your stuff on such issues but instead I've gotten what seemed to be a smack on the hand for asking for help.

I frequently get on this site for what I think is valuable info on the MPC and even some of the products and up to this point have appreciated the professionalism displayed here. But since not everyone is as knowledgable
on such technical areas as you seem to be, maybe you should show a little patience and grace to those who get on your site for help instead of treating them like they are stupid!
