midi keyboard and MPC-help me out

i search and could really find the answer i was looking for
okay pretty soon im gettin a midi keyboard controller so to hook it up to the mpc do i do a MIDI IN from the mpc to the MIDI out to the midi keyboard and MIDI IN from the keyboard to the MIDI out of the mpc??? like a 2 connection thing, help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
