What do you mean by recording em? All youre recording in your MPC is the midi which is activating the sounds off the casio. If youre trying to get the audio on the mpc you would have to sample the sound.

I'd hate to be a newbie these days the way they get treated...

anyway, you'll need midi cables. chck out the link maxlifo gave you. read through it and you should have a better understanding.

if you want to connect the mpc to the computer to use your vsti's, you'll need a midi interface. but read that stuff first man
