Midikeyboard to mpc2000xl

Hi, i was looking in the manual and i found a way to plug in my midikontroler (and a rack soundmodule)... the only problem is that i only have One midi out from the keyboard.
1. How do i make my midicontroler(with one midi out) work whit the mpc for making.. basslines?

Try this it should work.

Midi Controller MIDI OUT to Module MIDI IN
Module MIDI OUT to MPC MIDI IN

And if i dont want the sound module in it.. how du i do then?

MIDI in on the MPC

MIDI out of the MPC
MIDI in of the Module.


That covers all bases. You can play basslines as samples from the MPC, or as patches from the synth this way. You need to read up on using MIDI channels now.
