The Midi inputs on the 2kxl...question?

Wzup!

I Recently bought my 2kxl, n recieved it the other day. But when I was about to Midi it up with my s950´I was kind of surprised that the Midi-plug didn't go all the way into the Midi-input. No matter how hard I struggled it only wanned to go half way in? So my question is: Is that how it's ment to be or is it ment for a little force to present to make it go in all the way?

should go all the way in without too much force. check inside port could be broken pin.

Strange! I doubt that it could be a broken pin since all of the Midi -in and out puts are just as tight, I can also say that with "all the way in" I mean all the way to the plastic so the aluminum or whatever should be covered up. right?
