in the MTV base hip hop cribs programme on tv a few weeks back.
basically it was a pair of technics decks, and MPC 2000xl (coz it said on the boc and it had the same tilt screen), small keyboard controller, and some rack gear.

From what Ive seen, Andre uses the 3k..He's sick at programming drums on that thing...He has sum off key old synthy shhtt too. For his recent stuff the setup has consisted mainly of live gear.....He plays the guitar, keys and drums....From there, its probably all thrown into Protools
Boi is more gear based..Not to specific on his thing but Id expect it was pretty much the norm' - 2kxl/3k....Triton.... etc.
I wouldn't mind sittin in their studio whilst they do their thing....You could probably learn sum crazy tips

this response is correct.....but andre mentions how he made most of his album on battery and reason......his engineer turned him on to software....and he likes it....protools have played a major part of the mixing/recording of their past 2 albums in stankonia studios

The 2000 has a backlit screen, but it's not a TILT screen.
Street tested, Thug approved!
