I didn't see any mention of Akufen in this thread. This guy made an album with only radio samples.

And I quote,

there s a difference tho he's(the tread starter) sampling digital radio and new song's and this other guy was sampling airwaves theres a difference in sound, i use to sample airwave ,shoot i still do some time 's but not the music tho just sounds and vocals snipppet's but i know what im looking for a certain phrase oor something where i can catch the hole thing

and records are gonna sound a hell of a lot better than the digital, MP3ish quality shit you get from XM.

i dont get why everyones flaring up, let him sample whevere he wants? in my opinion u will find way more uuncommon selection on vinyl though, obviously, ,no?

i agree with you that we shouldn't care about what hes sampling or where hes getting it from its the fact that he was discrediting records because he found this other "source". feel me?

And doing this just a couple of weeks after asking here about where he should go digging with his new portbale turntable.
Still, a guy who produced a hit single for Busta Rhymes when he was only 16 can sample whatever he wants ....... especially "all the hits of yesteryear" from some oldies radio station.
