I need help with the OS 2.10

MY MPC1000 WON'T RECONIZE THE 2.10 UPDATE FROM THE AKAI WEBSITE. ON THERE WEB SITE IT SAYS THAT WHEN YOU DL IT, IT SHOULD UNZIP AS MPC1000.BIN, BUT IT KEEPS UNZIPING AS mpc1kv210.bin. I TRYED TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE FILE FROM mpc1kv210.bin TO MPC1OOO.BIN, MY MPC RECONIZED IT, BUT IT WONT LOAD IT.
ANY IDEAS SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECITED. AND IF ANY ONE HAS 2.10 UPDATE FOR THE MPC1000 ALREADY UNZIPPED IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU CAN UPLOAD IT FOR ME.

hey,

1) dl the zipped os file from akai
2) dont rename anything !!!
3) load it on your CF (at the root of your CF)
4) put the CF inside the mpc1k
5) put Power[ON] the mpc while pressing the [WINDOWS] key
6) wait for the screen "do you want to write this Os"
7) press [REC]
8 ) wait until you see the [MAIN] page ( after writing os,the mpc automaticaly restart)

press shift and turn ur data wheel still holdin holdin shift , maybe it dimed out like most peoples problems .....
