hi.

I want to use my akai mpc with cubase 3 sx.

is it correct, when I connect the stereo outputs (mpc Audio L+R)
with line in- (audio interface Audio L+R) :?:

then for the midi connection.
(audio interface midi out) to (mpc midi in)
(mpc midi out) to (audio interface in)

is this way correct? :?:

if connection ok. :!:

I would try to record sequenzes.

how to use it? is there a mpc plug in for cubase ?
or whatever? :?: :?:

thx very much for your help. :D

You basiclly have it setup ok. Computers Midi Out to the MPC's midi in (1) and MPC's Midi Out (A) to the Computers midi in. now goto your midi/sync screen on the MPC (shift+9). Turn MIDI CLOCK on for both i/o. and enable "send MMC". Then setup Cubase. Goto the transport pulldown and goto "Sync Setup". Enable midi timecode. set your audio-interface in the destinations. then hit ok and press T to enable sync. then your good to go and set your i/o's to track shit out and create new audio tracks and route them.

Hi again.

Now, I want to connect a synthi to mpc .

the preference

MPC = MIDI Clock Master

Synthie (without sequenzer) = MIDI Clock Slave
correct :?:

is it correct, if I connect the stereo outputs (mpc Audio L+R)

then for the midi connection.
(audio interface midi out) to (mpc midi in)
(mpc midi out) to (audio interface in)
(synthi midi out) to (mpc midi in)
(mpc midi in) to (synthie midi out)

I guess I don´t need any more connection:?:

thx.
