I never tried that one myself, can't say what would happen good or bad. Now if you have a external scsi zip drive then I would advise you to get the scsi card. This would make transfering and editing your samples, song data and pgm files a breeze. I copped my scsi card from
http://www.jdwscsiforsamplers.com I only paid $25 total and instalation is a breeze. As long as you got the drivers that come with the scsi zip drive it's only a 10-15min process from start to finish!

If you didn't get a CD ROM with your zip drive when youy bought it go to the manufactures(IOMEGA) website and you should be able to download it from there. As for the scsi cable it's the exact same cable you currently use with your zip drive now. Once set up you will see the zip drive icon on your My computer screen. You may need to format your zips though.
