I want to record a piano loop so that the end tale is audible at the beginning of the sample when it loops, so having a soothing loop that goes round and round. This is usually done by merging the last bit of the tale part with the beginning of the sample. Also, one could crossfade exact same loops next to eachother and chop the correct piece to produce this effect. Is this possible on the mpc1000?

this seems to be a popular way of smooth looping...how exactly is this done...just copy like the last few milliseconds, and paste it to the front on top of the front OVER the start?,,or does this "piece' play along with the start?
