bought my SCSI and OS upgrade from Roger the Dodger himself. £60+ customs/import/VAT charge thank you very much. They wouldn't send it as a gift and low value either!

your're probably best off with:

http://www.ramona.com/Soundlogic/SLxxKUC.html

I got my RAM off him and he agreed to dodge the customs so I don't see why he wouldn't do it for the OS and SCSI.

Did you get that MPC yesterday off ebay per chance?

Thanks for the link. How long did he take to ship the ram. The price is cheaper than on the linn website and Ive read the horror stories about long waits from linn so I may give this guy a go!

Has anyone else bought anything from sound logic as the website looks very basic / I dont want to get ripped off.

I think you don't have to worry about ! I got my scsi, os and ram from them (Soundlogic). I think they are the best way to have the upgrades. Cuz I'v first tried at Roger Linn but they took ages so I decided to cancel it.

$120 but i cant remember if they sent it as gift or not. i asked him to, but as i think back i think they didn't - it came in a huge ass box with a reprinted manual (pointless - could have just printed the pdf this end) and 4 discs that didnt work.

if he had just sent the chips in a jiffy bag i might have got it sooner, paid less, felt better and not have to slate this dude every chance i get

soundlogic are reputable, if they weren't you'd hear about it. In fact I need to get SCSI for one of my other 60's and will probably get it from him....
