headphone - line out

i got a question, when i try and trim sounds i can only hear them through the headphone out and not the line out. (im using 8 outs) i want to be able to hear everything from my out 1, i cant even hear when i sample stuff unless i put on the headphones. hopefuly someone can help me out

you have to press shift and 7 for the mixer setting then select the output channel then go back and trim the sample as you like

i dont know if that is it, i cant find anywhere to change the output of samples to different outs. I can change assigned keys to certain outs but not the trim menu.

maybe i am missing something

Hold shift and press 7........
press induval( or something like that)
turn the dial to select the output channel where you put the sample( like A01).........


Also when you sample make sure you assign the sample to a button when you sample if you like how it sounds..........

ok in the individual i can only see where you can change outputs for specific pads. like d14 etc, but not where i can change the trim function.

i just want to be able to hear what i am trimming without using headphones.

easy, just take one of your stereo outs and run it to your mixer.

You may be able to run your monitor signal to one of the 8 outs, maybe check the Other menu (does 2000 have this?) instead of drum mix.
