does anyone have this setup? If i used the MP as the sequencer and had my mixer setup(you know, the whole 9) would the the combo work?

i have the mpc2000xl and the wk-1800 joint just use the keys to spread my sounds out thru my mp and have a whole bunch of fantom,motif sounds in mpc auto chrono them and im good!!! people think i really have them keyboards!

Yes that setup will work. That keyboard has 16 multi MIDI channels and the polyphony is 32. So you good to go.
