I've never seen that section in the manual :roll: But I think you're talking about the 16 levels function.....just change the parameter to 16 tunings.

or make a pgm and edit the note numbers to make your own chromatic assign.. there's a few ways to do it.

I think the 64 mpc pads ARE your keyboard, corresponding to the keys of a regular keyboard.

In Programm press F4 and select your midinotes (like from notenumber 36 up to 99). If they correspond with your keyboard or octapad notenumbers you can play your samples on your (midi)keyboard in the same order that they're programmed on your MPC.

basically I think he's talking about triggering software from the MPC ,yes you can. just make sure you have your midi cables hooked up right to trigger. 8)

yeah..
and switch the tracktype from drum to midi and edit the pads so they trigger in a chromatic fashion.
