The data entry knob....

Hi!

The data entry knob on my 3000 is starting to act funny..its sort of loose but still works. My guess is that its gonna break any day now. Do i need a new knob or can this be fixed any other way. I live in Sweden and i dont know any place to send it to for repair. Does anybody have experiance with this? Is it hard do replace the knob yourself?

its a ****... and **** expensive to ship to forat/vst to fix...
my wheel has been f*cked for a long time, i just use the +/- now...

Very easy to do. I found the #'s jumped and skipped when turning the knob. I just ordered a new knob and a new responder(this is the actual piece if you pull the knob off the MPC) from VST Service. I did the soldering myself. Very easy. Works as if it were brand new.

I fixed myself, i pulled out the knob and inside it was loose, i just tighten it up again. Good for me!!
