In Search OF...

I was doing some research and came up short on finding a rackmount sampler with zoning or chopping to go with my 2000 ''classic''. I was thinking something like the S3000 or s5000.Any suggestions?

if you want a rackmount with the chop feature.

the yamaha a4000/a5000 is your best bet.

I think.... the emu ultra series will do this also.

as far as akai goes, the s5000 will not do it automatically, but the extract feature works real nice. The z4/z8 will slice regieons"zones" and set up a program automatically.

Thanks, It doesnt have to be a chop feature any other akai rackmounth you knwo of that does zoning along the lines of the 2KXL. i was looking for something i could use to divide my samples into 16 pieces and then assign to pads. Im now actually considering switching to a xl because of that feature.
