I am in the same boat as "Upright", my timing issues seem to happen when I have very little events going on in my loop! I do use the MPC as the master sequencer, and is used to trigger sounds from my Fantom X6.
It seems very odd to me, and I took your guys advice and messed around with the TC, but that is not the coulprit...I also had a look at my midi events coming in from the Fantom, and the only events there are the ones that are supposed to be there, ie pressure/duration/pad number or key number, but nothing odd or in bulk!
I hope I can get a handle on this soon because it is annoying, nothing detrimental, but annoying the least. I am pretty sure that "Upright" and myself cant be the only ones with this problem, maybe you guys are not noticing it.
HOLD UP STOP THE PRESS, while typing I was messing with the 25000 and I got a huge clue, the timing issues don't happen when sounds are triggered from within the 25000, but only when external midi is introduced, I don't know what to make of this info right now, but I am going to try and decode it!!!
