melodyne has the best pitchshifting\timestretching algorythm i ever seen...
it happened to me to timestretch a whole 6 minutes instrumental from 90 bpm to 98 and it came out perfectly sounding.awesomeness.

Just checked the website and there is a demo for OS X and Windows.
So maybe you can at least try it out and make sure it's for you, as it's not necessarily a cheap program:

I guess it might be off topic to ask but which package do you melodyne users have? I see that there are different packages. Will the lowest one do the trick?
