the 4000 isnt my favorite... i have the 1000... i dont love the pads on the 1000, but the software/features are killer! I dont like the 4000 because its got a horrible interface, very confusing, and the pads and buttons are too stiff. I dont know... I would definitely trade the 1000 for a maxed 2000xl, or a maxed 3000.
