I watched that whole video and did u at all follow the connections that were made? Most DAW's are similiar in MIDI Setup. What have you done so far in Protools to attempt in getting it to work?

You are only gonna need one to put your beats into protools....I have a 2kxl and only had my 1k for about a month so you are gonna have to look in the manual for those settings but here is what you do in pro tools....

Now I have a Mac and I am guessing you have a PC so you are going to have to find where the stuff is on your own....

First find "Midi Beat Clock" and make sure that you click "Enable" (under that should be your interface (Ex: Digi001), click that as well).....Then find "Change Tempo" and set that to the tempo to your beat (the tempo to the track in your mpc) this way pro tools will record everything correctly.....That's all you have to do for the pro tools side....The mpc stuff is in the manual!

Oh yeah, midi cable from Pro Tools OUT (guessing that you have a DigiDesign interface) into MPC IN!
