When I got my 2500 the note repeat worked, but my fantom low octive chords didn't. I did a software update to fix the problem with the fantom...but unfortunately, I don't think note repeat has worked sense. When I hit it I don't get the TC selections so I think the button either physically stop working or my OS on the MPC is messed up?

try reloading the OS? It sounds like your note repeat button may be busted but let's hope not...

Note repeat ONLY works when hitting the pads on the MPC, if you are trying to use note repeat with the fantom keys... sorry, it cant be done.

But, you can use it with the fantom sounds... with the pads.

^^^^ this info is not correct: you can use note repeat on any midi sound that is triggered from the mpc. i use this all the time for all kinds of sounds from my m1, from live , from reason and it is no difference whether i play the pads or any keyboard in my setup, note repeat works i all cases. maybe one need to switch local control on the keyboard to off, so the keystroke goes to the mpc and from there to the soundmodule in your keyboard.

I think he's talking about the timing correct settings that pop up when you press Note Repeat. So if this doesn't appear, the Note Repeat button obviously doesn't work...

Yup, thats correct. The TC pops up at the bottom to let you select when you press note repeat and it's working. Mine does not, I called VST and the button is broke so I will have to send it in :(
