Thanks.

Can you turn off MMC on both units? Then using only MTC and see if the units will sync.

* Cut and paste the OS to the ROOT directory of the ORIGINAL CF CARD that came with the 2500.
* With the unit OFF, power up while holding the WINDOW button down.
* It should prompt you to load up the new OS. Hit F6 for DO IT.

I'm sure this isn't the only way to get it to work, but it's what I did; worked flawlessly.

Indeed it works this way...
I was hetting verry sweaty cause it indeed froze....

Thanx for Sharing

I was going to post this method but you beat me to the punch. It's funny that there's even a "process" of changing/updating a PDF that's 1 page long. Shouldn't that take like a minute? I mean I'd rather have them work on the OS but seriously, come on now with that.

If you turn MTC off on the 2500 but set it to receive MMC, will Logic still trigger it?

So, if MTC won't work with MMC turned off..and MMC works with MTC turned off...how do you know if MTC slave actually works?

My tests of 1.22 last night showed that the bugs I was having syncing Logic and the MPC since 1.2 (via MIDI BEAT CLOCK) are still there. Back to 1.1 for me (again).

Is anyone able to record from the MPC onto an audio track in Logic properly via MIDI BEAT CLOCK as it was pre 1.20?

Is anyone able to use MTC with Logic?

If someone gets the 2500 working properly with Logic could they please post some kind of detailed tutorial for me on how to set up both Logic (Pro, 7.2.2) and the MPC because I'm starting to feel that I wasted a grand buying this thing.

using samplitude and mpc as slave via mtc here.

on v1.20 everything is fine.
on v1.21 and 1.22 it doesnt sync properly.

on 1.20 and mmc:off i press play in samplitude and the mpc starts
to play back in sync.

on 1.22 i have to press play on mpc (although samp is already playing back) and to move the cursor in samplitude to a position in the song thats later then where the mpc is in playback to get them synced.
when i start the playback at 009.01.01 in samplitude and press play on mpc, it starts at 001.01.01. on 1.20 it would sync and start where samplitudes actual position is.

thats not how it should work, i think. tried it with mmc,but it didnt help.

back to v1.20 now.

That's because some people need step by step instructions to do such things..as you should have noticed during your time here. Even to stick in the memory card and switch the unit on obviously.

Of course it takes only a minute.
