man, i bought the mpc to stay away from software as much as possible. If i had to trade my mpc it would be for a new mpc 2kxl. or 2500 (if someone wanted to trade that).

Otherwise i would get an asr 10. But i would most definitly stay with hardware sequencing. :D

yup.. the only reason i got a mpc is to get away form making music on the PC, so i guess i wouldnt trade it for anything unless i can benefit form it, and right now the mpc is my main tool so im not even thinking of switching.

I wouldn't trade it or sell it.I got the mpc 2000 because my computer messed up and was becoming a pain.I'm glad I bought the mpc 2000.

i'd go a 1000 and pick up an emu rack (e4xt) 2nd hand. 1000 for drums and the emu for the great filters and synth like functions.

That's why I love this forum! Never even knew about the RS7000. Did a little research and it has some nice specs. Regulary priced at $1500. There's one on ebay now going for $200.

I might trade it for a 4K.  I like the features and multi-sampling but not the monstrous size.  I might even trade it for a 2500 if all the bugs are worked out.  That's about it.

nah jk, I'd never shoot my pretty face.
hmm, akai: s612 and a VX600 or a MPC 3000

other.. Machinedrum with the sampling upgrade/option maybe?

A 3000 is not of equal or lesser value imo

I'd trade my dignity for an Original CD of Fruity Loops Studio 4, but I'd never trade my MPC 2000XL.

maybe a circuit bent tr707 (with the pitch knobs and the 727 ROM loaded)

moogerfooger analog delay (cept its a little more expensive than my 2kxl)

or a second 1210m5g maybe but probably not for either since i bought my 2kxl so i could get a more muddy sounding drum if i need it.

only thing Id trade my 2kxl for is a sp 1200. Or a mpc3000. No way am I getting rid of it for anything less than one of those.
