I do exactly what u want to do, only i use nuendo (bigger brother of cubase).
I use kontakt and battery as samplers, i also use b4 organ arp 2600 etc.

If u only want to use the sounds and do ALL sequencing in the mpc (like me), there's no need for making cubase slave. I don't do that and never ever had any problems with latency or sumthin. Everything plays correctly with the right timing.

It takes ALOT of settings to use multiple vsti's though...

check "channel filtering" in the manual of cubase, it's all explained there. Peaz

yola!!! I know this is old as hell by now, but I have my stuff working to where I can sequence on the mpc controllin the vsts off cubase, but only one problem.,.I'm lookin to b able to control the vsts as well thru my triton keyboard and b able to use the internal sounds from triton and have it all seq'd on the mpc.,.,does anyone know whas good?
