If you have warranty or aren't sure of your ability use extreme caution.
Funny thing was it didn't do it until I installed 1.21.
When going back to earlier versions didn't make a difference I knew it was hardware related in some way.

My situation just started shortly after 1.21. I thought it was a OS issue.

Damn , i have the same problem right now , yesterday i installed OS 1.22 and everything worked fine.
This afternoon i started doing some drums and all of a sudden the pads were triggering all kinds of stuff.

The more these kind off things happen the more i'm starting to lean over to roland with their MV8000.
One more thing and i'm going to throw my mpc's out of the window and buy myself an mv8000 , i'm fed up.
Anyone know a good site for mail-bombing? damn akai

Installing a new O.S. appears coincidental, because going back to an older O.S. doesn't make it stop.

If I were frustrated and unhappy with my gear, I would move onto something else as well. The MV is a great alternative to the MPC line. You should be able to pick one up for a reasonable price. That is one way to solve your headaches.

The Q-Links affecting other Q-Links have been adressed with an OS update too. I'm wondering about nothing on that machine anymore...
