Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By jnelson Sat Aug 26, 2006 10:12 pm
Hello, I just got an MPC 2000 of ebay and the ad mentioned a few lines running through the screen. I assumed it was as stated, a few lines. NOpe, most of the screen was dead and thus requires replacement. I've been looking around on the net and have found some companys in europe. However, I'm not all that comfortable ordering stuff online from a site I don't quite understand. Can anyone tell me a place to get a replacement screen at a good price. Thank You, Jon

Yo Ambush, did you install on a 2KXL???

How long did it take and can you give any pointers. I am waiting on a screen replacement now. I have installed on a 2K classic, but not an XL... Can you give any pointers before I tackle this.

Peace

No pointers, Ambush has a 2k classic.

Does anyone have any tips or pointers??? I have changed 2 screens on the 2000 classic for my friends. The XL looks a little more involved since it is a tilted screen.

I would hate to pull out a bunch of unnecessary screws!!!!

Pics would help - otherwise I just have to rough it...
