To change the pitch AND speed of the sample you need to pitch shift AND time stretch it. First pitch shift it by the desired increment. Then use this sample and timestretch it by the same amount. To calculate this amount use the following formula: t ≡. (. x. 1. − x1a[j])/. (x1a[j+1] − x1a[j]). u ≡. (. x. 2. − x2a[k])/. (x2a[k+1] − x2a[k]). (3.6.4) Where A is the amount of timestretch
