trouble with my programs on the 2000XL

I save my programs in the "1st" program spot but when I load them back up on another day they always come up in the 2nd program spot......

Does anyone have this problem?

Does anyone know why?

Does anyone know how to stop this from happening

yeah, I usually do just go in and copy the pgm to 1st spot but I was wondering if I'm saving pgms wrong or it that is just a glitch with the machine's OS?

A-Sharp - When you load your programs,try loading the first one by choosing [CLEAR] option (which erases existing programs and sounds) and load all the rest by choosing the [LOAD] option (which adds to existing programs and sounds).It should solve the problem with the first empty program location as NewPgm.

But unfortunately it doesn't help with my personal Drum-Program issue...
I mean - every time when I load my programs manually one after another,after that I load the sequences,I never get the right program in the right Drum location.I always have to assign the Program to the Drum location [1-4] to get the tracks play as they were last time...
Maybe someone can help me with this ?

It's not a glitch, that's just the way it is. Do as I said above, INSTEAD of always loading PGMS, save a collection of PGMS into an APS. If you load a PGM then that's just the way it is and you have to deal with it, there's no way around it.
